All these 10/10's?

I don't know what's worse, the movie I just saw or the fake attempts to fool people in seeing this garbage?! Goes to show you how desperate and sad the film makers and producers are! Are they that dumb thinking people will believe it? There goes ANY credibility writer and director Lili Matta will ever have. This was so cliched, poorly acted, written and directed. The fake 10/10's are more entertaining!

YOUR OVERALL RATING DOESN'T LIE, AND IT'S ALSO TOO HIGH!!! REPOSTING: Never mind all the shill high reviews, this film was really bad. It's 84 minutes of cringe-worthy useless dialogue that tries to set some type of stage, that ultimately collapses on its own weight. It tries to make you care about every character, but it's just dull and boring, and does not give you any real reason to care. And the fact it just keeps dragging on with all the useless dialogue, I literally was grinding my teeth waiting for something to happen. And what did happen, was a plot that I'd expect a 5th grade drama class to come up with, especially the ending. The entire story was sloppy, un-convincing, convoluted, cliched, boring, and riddled with plot and technical issues. Then adding some random gun statistic at the end to make you somewhat care from what you just saw, was the icing on the cake how bad the story was. The casting and performances were adequate, and maybe would've been better if I cared about any of them. The pacing dragged out so bad, that the 84 min runtime felt like 3 hours, with no reward at the finish line. Where any of the scenes even edited, because there should've been lots of film on the cutting room floor. This story "may" have worked as a short film. I get that this is newb writer, director and producer Lili Matta's fourth filmmaking credit, but she should've at the very least had a seasoned writer go over her screenplay.

if you like...

Films of flashbackmemories of crucial moments of a persons life, when your own life is at stake e.g. Like having the gunpipe pressed onto your neck...? Then its a go for it, for the rest its a try or leave kind of flick. Its an overwritten story with 4 main locations, a desperate man makes a siege in an art gallery, where people of all kind and gender enjoys their champaign and photographic art vernissaging at an exhibition. Loaded with one 6 shot revolver and nothing else(no more ammunition) holding at least 15 people at stake., simple maths would say that 7 people should survive the ordeal, but will they?. Its an independent production, the quality of production is more than the usual homecarpentered diy filmmaking, but its says too much, and wants too much, and threads the generic steps others have made in the genre, so just a weak 4 from the grumpy old man.
