I must be weird

I really enjoyed this film. I found the lugubrious pacing and slow menacing atmosphere quite interesting and it drew me in but then I have strange tastes. Reminds me of "Misery" but with a totally different angle. What surprised me even more is that I always thought Kate Bosworth was a terrible actress and I have now changed my opinion somewhat as she was really very good in this role. The twist in the tale was totally unexpected and made the film even more interesting. I guess when the story draws you in and you become immersed you are less likely to try and work things out and criticise but just let the story take you to the endpoint. I think I must be the only person in the reviews section that has given this a good review and I don't know why as the film was really rather good, apart from some plot holes; like who was the previous husband in the cupboard and why did the new guy not know about it or maybe he did as he had lost his memory and went along with it all because he did in fact love the main protagonist.

Another dull movie stereotyping people who have cats

Stereotyping can happen in many ways, "cat people" are strange people who live in dirty weird houses and probably have skeletons or maybe fresh human meat in stocked in a fridge. Oh, don't forget driving some car which might have been taken out of a Stephen King's book. I don't know if these directors stereotype to be facetious or they do it because they hate cats. And cat people, I am, are usually people who love animals, nature, and we have cats because they are easier to take care of. This movie also seems like a second tier version of Stephen King's Misery. It is dull, sloppy and very, very predictable, which is the worse thing is a intended to be thriller movie. So, go fly a kite, swim in the lake, watch sports, better, do some sport!!

The Perfect Family

The film opens with a family in an auto accident. Wes Bentley is injured, in bed and doesn't have a memory. His wife Kate Bosworth cares for him as a monotone sociopath. The movie is a mystery as to what happened and where is the daughter? (Olivia Rose Keegan) It was like watching "Miss Meadows" meets "Misery" as you anticipate the Hitchcock style twist. Meanwhile there is a detective (Shashawnee Hall) handling the case who seems to get most of his information from newspaper clippings. Guide: F-bomb. Implied sex. No nudity. Not for everyone.
