I am going to lead by example: RUN!

Bill (Richard Brake ) has his own private island where he has Silicon Valley boys hunt trophies from a tree stand shooting into an open baited field. In this case the bait is a native running through. They are hunting graboids which Bill bred himself. They have evolved and have shriekers who hunt by thermal tracking and use sonic as a weapon. Jas (Caroline Langrishe ) leads a group of researchers on a nearby island (shot in Thailand beautiful scenery). Also is Jimmy (Jon Heder ) a professor who imagined was Napoleon Dynamite grown up. There were enough film references, they could have used that one too. Like naming the guy Pedro who died and having one of the girls wear a ponytail that shifts from one side of her head to the other. When things get out of control, they enlist the help of Bert Gummer (Michael Gross ) who happened to live on a nearby island. At times it had a Jurassic Park feel to it. The film was mildly humorous at times. It is about what to expect from the series. You really don't need to watch any of the previous films to enjoy this one. Guide: No F-words, sex, or nudity.

Better than the next one

Each Tremors movie has been better than the next one but this one has a higher quality. Addition of Jon Heder might keep the thing going. How about Graboids on the Moon?

Because I liked the first Tremors

The first Tremors movie was a gem. A campy and fun monster movie with quirky characters, I used to watch it every time I saw it on TV and my wife was not around. Just because of that one film I watched all the other... seven are they? Anyway, none was actually worth watching, including this possibly last one. Everything is cardboard and the monsters aren't even scary. One could have created a world terrorized by graboids, expanded it with high budgets and top actors, made it a cinematic universe and cross it over with Underworld, Piranhas, The Meg or even Sharknado. It would have still been stupid, but at least enjoyable. The first Tremors movie was a gem, the rest are the mud.
